Can I organize cadences into groups?
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Context
As the number of cadences grows—for example, having meta cadences, web cadences and action cadences for each study—the cadence list can become long and difficult to navigate. Cadence categories make it easier to group, find and select the right cadence.
Answer
Yes. Delfa supports cadence categories, which let you organize cadences by their purpose or workflow. For example, your organization might create categories such as Meta, Web, Action, Success or Marketing.
To organize your cadences:
Open the organization switcher, click Manage and select Cadence Categories. Only lead recruiters see this page.
Type a name in Add a category, or edit existing ones. Names must be unique. Changes save automatically.
Open a cadence in Cadences → Definitions. In Cadence Settings, choose a Category. Choose None to clear it. Only lead recruiters can edit cadences.
On the Executions and Definitions tabs, use the Category filter. You can select more than one category. When you add one or more patients to a cadence, use Filter by category to show one category at a time.
The assigned category appears as a badge and in the Category column. Categories are not nested folders, but they provide the grouping, search and filtering needed to keep long cadence lists manageable.
